Cheap & Chic: Old Navy Wool Pea Coat

I was recently on the hunt for a wool jacket to transition from Fall to Winter. This cold weather classic always adds a chic update to my every day style in the colder months. I like the shorter styles that fall just below the waist. I wanted to find one in a color, as opposed to boring every day black.

I found this Old Navy Women's Cropped Wool-Blend Peacoat in Plummy Mummy for just $59.50. Of course the lining isn't of the best quality inside, but that is to be expected of a jacket in this price range. The purple-magenta color is great! I ordered a Petite Medium online, and it fits perfectly. (shorter sleeves, slightly tighter bust)

Also comes in Cream and Black. $59.50

Chic & Comfy Winter Scarfs

Anthropologie can do no wrong in my world. Their amazing accessories may be even more oogle worthy than their actual clothes. I just spotted this Starry Sky Scarf and had to have it!

The sweater knit material is super soft, bouncy, gauzy and beyond adorable. I purchased this one in Lilac/Grey. (It also comes in Purple/Beige and Black/White). I am not a fan of scarfs that are ultra heavy and feel itchy against your skin - they just way you down and also make me sweat to death! This one is super soft and pretty light weight.

This is a great simple way to incorporate some colorful pattern into your every day look. I may never wear a plain black scarf ever again!

I'm also in love with this Metallic Zigzag Scarf in Purple. It won't keep you as warm as the one above, but the pattern is very Missoni looking, and I love the shimmer of the sparkling threads. (It also comes in Brown, Black and Grey)

Fashion Craving: Dakota Fanning's Sequin Style

I immediately wanted this Elizabeth & James Sequined Sweatshirt as soon as I saw this photo of Dakota Fanning out and about in Beverly Hills (Nov 3). I love anything that is uber comfortable, yet has that extra special element to step it up a notch - like sequins, shine and metallic mixed in to a sweatshirt - genuis!

It is currently sold out online at Shop Bop
